G7 CERTIFICATION

Wikoff Color offers three EXPERIENCED G7 Experts to support your calibration needs. G7 acceptance as a suitable printing guideline has grown substantially in the past five years.

Our G7 experts have successfully calibrated over 100 printing devices in the past four years. We have calibrated digital, flexographic, gravure, lithographic and proofing output devices. We use only the highest quality equipment and software, which expedites and improves the accuracy of the calibrations.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND CONSULTING

With over 140 years of graphic arts experience, our TSG members are capable of getting to the root of problems. Our specialists work with you and your team to solve issues, determine the correct products to use, find suitable consumables, test theories and develop new solutions.

Wikoff’s Graphic Arts specialist can consult with you to determine improvements in make-ready times, waste reduction, OEE, performance metrics and compliance to end customer needs.

IN-PLANT SYSTEMS

We are in-plant specialists. Wikoff Color provides customized ink management systems for each location’s unique needs.

Our in-plant catalog allows selection of services and equipment to fill basic to highly advanced requirements and a cost that fits your budget.

InSTRIDE - In-plant, Standardization, Training, Reporting, Improvement, Define, and Equipment

A comprehensive program focused on increasing key customer satisfaction by improving and standardizing in-plant systems. Standardization includes inventory management, operation workflow, and ink mixing systems. Audits and training of personnel ensure that individual locations are capable of meeting the individual customer’s needs. Our In-plant managers are trained on current industry trends and topics pertaining to their specific location.

Instride also includes customizable implementation plans. These plans are based on our extensive experience in transitioning to Wikoff Color Corporation products. Our representatives will meet with your local management team to develop a mutually agreed upon plan aimed at minimizing downtime and waste so the true value of your decision to move to Wikoff products can be realized as quickly as possible.

CENTER FOR CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT:

In 1989, Wikoff’s first continual improvement department was established, adopting a Total Quality Management approach. Over the years, the department has matured and expanded its vision to include not only oversight of the quality management system, but also training programs and employee safety while adopting other improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma.

LEAN PRINCIPLES IMPLEMENTATION

As our primary improvement methodology, employees across the company are educated on the philosophy of lean thinking and the tools to eliminate waste. Lean principles continue to be applied in all areas of our business.

SIX SIGMA

Trained Black Belts and Green Belts work in teams to improve processes and reduce defects as projects are identified through the company’s strategic deployment plan. Often these projects use a combination of Lean and Six Sigma tools.

QUALITY POLICY

Wikoff Color Corporation will meet or exceed internal and external customer product and service expectations.  This will be achieved by continually improving our processes through team work among our people, vendors and customers
